As the preacher reads a verse aloud, the engine compares the spoken words against every licensed translation, word by word.
When three verses each match one translation nearly word-for-word, the whole display switches to that translation and stays there.
Memory quotes and loose paraphrase never trigger a switch. And if the preacher's Bible isn't in the licensed set (for example NKJV or CSB), no switch is possible — a note appears below the controls letting you know the closest available translation is being shown.
